Ultimate Games S.A. and developer Mercat Games have announced a new RTT stealth game called Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean, a game for fans that love tactical challenges, pirate adventures, and legends.
Announced for both PC and Consoles, the game is expected to release in 2023 when it will launch on Pc, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. In addition, a demo of the game will be presented in the upcoming Steam Next Festival, so you won’t have to wait that long to know what the game is all about.
Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean is a debut project by the Polish indie studio, Mercat Games while being published by Ultimate Games S.A. Watch the game’s trailer below:
In the game, you will be able to gain notoriety as an elusive, pirate-gentleman, that can also take a different route by being known as the bloody terror of the Caribbean.

In Frigato, we combine the elements of pirate adventures, dark legends and rowdy humour into a unique whole. The game will loosely refer to the so-called golden age of piracy – the 17th and 18th century. Gameplay-wise, it should appeal to fans of games like Shadow Tactics, Desperados, Commandos, War Mongrels and Partisans 1941.

Frigato will debut on PC, followed by Xbox and Nintendo Switch releases. Perhaps later it will also appear on PlayStation consoles. Importantly, soon everyone will be able to check the game for themselves thanks to the demo, featuring a long mission, which we will present during the Steam Next festival, starting June 13th this year.
