Xbox Live Gold Team has announced that all free-to-play games available on Xbox can now be played online without any need for Xbox Live Gold. All free-to-play titles on Xbox One and Xbox Series range of consoles can now be played completely for free and that included a pretty decent list of titles and not just mainstream titles like Fortnite, Rocket League, or Apex Legends.
Microsoft had earlier announced that it is listening to fan feedback and is considering making all free-to-play really ‘free’ by removing the Xbox Live Gold requirement for them and now the update is live and you can jump in your favorite online free-to-play games even if your Xbox Live Gold expired a long time ago. You will still need Xbox Live Gold to access your Xbox Games with Gold titles however all free-to-play titles do not require them.
