Ubisoft has teamed with Google to test Google’s Project Stream, and with it you can now get a free copy of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on Pc if you participate the test. The free copy comes in the digital version on the game streaming platform that Google is testing on.
Project Stream was revealed in October and is rumored to come in June of next year. It is a streaming service from Google which will allow everyone to play games through the Chrome Browser. Users can use this on their home Wi-Fi network and it will run just as smoothly using both a gaming pc with ideal specs and a MacBook Pro.
If you are interested to take a part, you can sign up at the Project Stream Website. It is worth mentioning that it is only available in the U.S. This is also a technical test, which suggests that it can be filled with bugs and glitches. You are also required to have Google Chrome and Uplay account. This is not much of a requirement if you ask us, and it is also free!
All players that participate in Project Stream will receive free 1,000 Helix Credits (worth $10) in game. In addition, any player who spends at least an hour of playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey between now and 15 January will get a free Uplay PC copy.
The game saves and the in-game items that players earn during the gameplay will transfer over; however, any unspent credits will not be transferred. So its advised to buy everything you can of your choice.
The Project Stream testing will continue till 15 January, which leaves you a lot of time to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for free.
