Playground Games has revealed the content coming to Forza Horizon 4 in the upcoming Series 9 update and it brings one of the most fan-requested features to the game. Custom Adventures are finally coming to Forza Horizon 4 after fans have been asking for the feature since the release of the title.
Along with the custom adventure, the Series 9 update will also add new reward cars for players to unlock by playing the Festival Playlists in the game. A brand new version of the Delta-Wing Showcase is also coming to the game in the new update. A brand new story also highlights the new update for Forza Horizon 4.
Starting with the Custom Adventure, it will allow players to create a race series of their own choice and then invite players from around to world to participate in the Adventure. Players will be able to choose the performance class, vehicle championship class, and race types to create their own customized settings to create their own Custom Adventure.
A brand new Horizon Story is also arriving in Forza Horizon 4 with the Series 9 update called ‘The Car Files’. The new Horizon Story adds ten new chapters to the game as players will work with Automotive Consultant Hans Liebold to prove or disprove different insurance claims. Completing all ten chapters of the Horizon Story will unlock the Crash Test Dummy morph-suit.
A Showcase Remix is also making its way to Forza Horizon 4. The Delta-Wing Showcase event in Forza Horizon 4 is getting a brand new remixed version which will allow players to ditch the Aston Martin Vulcan and take out a Lamborghini Countach to race the Delta-Wing jet in a night race. The race will be accompanied by the nightlife of Horizon Festival and a catchy synthpop soundtrack to keep things interesting.
No series update is complete without new cars and this time we have some really cool cars to earn as rewards. Apart from a complete lineup of Mini cars, we are getting some utterly cool and wacky cars straight from the future. The complete list of new cars is detailed below.

Two new features designed specifically to reduce griefing behavior and wall-riding in both Ranked and Quickplay Online Racing Adventure are also included in the Series 9 update. With the new features in place, players who wall-ride along corners will get a slowdown penalty and players who fail to brake in time in corners will be ghosted to prevent them from hitting other players.
