Epic Games has just added a completely new feature in Fortnite that allows you to upgrade your weapons in the middle of a battle royale match. The new weapon sidegrading allows you to upgrade your weapon to a different rarity of the same weapon.
The new feature will allow you to upgrade your common assault rifle to a high rarity one, making it better and more powerful. This upgrading of weapons can be done by using any of the Weapon Upgrade Benches that have now become a part of the matches and can be found all throughout the map.
Sidegrading is not free and will cost you some of your building materials if you are looking to upgrade your weapon. The materials are not such big ask considering that you are upgrading your weapon and making it better. If you can find any weapon, all you are left is to find a bench to upgrade it.
The update also brings in a new Icon Series skin of a very famous Fortnite player and streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. The new Ninja Skin comes with its own Emote, Back Bling, and Pickaxe. This also marks the first time any streamer has got their own Skin in the game. Unsurprisingly, Ninja was delighted to have been officially featured in the game that is a big part of his popularity.
I’ve dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game. Today, my dream becomes reality.

As far as the Icon Series is concerned, Epic Games has stated that there will be more gaming, music, film, and fashion that will be featured in the game from now onwards.
Gaming, music, film, and fashion collide in Fortnite in the Icon Series. The Icon Series brings the artistic vision, personality, and attitude of top creators to Fortnite, building on previous collaborations with Marshmello and Major Lazer.
Stay tuned for future Icon Series collaborations, including Loserfruit, TheGrefg and more creators from games, music, and entertainment.
