Epic Games has released a new update v9.30 for Fortnite and it brings some new cool things to Fortnite such as the new Chug Splash item and a Prop Hunt mode. Along with this, two brand new LTMs are also here including the Sniper Shootout which can be played in Duos and Trios and the Solid Gold Squads LTM. Both of these LTMs are here to stay for a week.
Starting with the Chug Splash, it is exclusively available in the Battle Royale mode in Fortnite and when used, it will splash a healing liquid around an area that will heal all players in the splash zone. This item is very useful in squad-based modes where a team can quickly heal itself with just one item.
All players who are in the splash zone of a single Chug Splash are given 20 health or Shields depending on their current health. However, if an enemy comes in the splash zone, they will be healed as well so it makes it a little bargain to use in small areas and close combat encounters. You might end up healing your enemies instead of your teammates if not used properly.
Next, we have two LTMs that are now live in Fortnite for the entirety of Week 7. These are Sniper Shootout which sees players taking on others in teams of two or three in Duos or Trios using sniper rifles while the other LTM to go live in Fortnite with the new update is the Solid Gold Squads in which players fight to the death using Legendary weapons.
Coming new for the Creative mode is the Prop Hunt mode in which players can assume the shape of any item in the game. For this purpose, a new weapon has been added for the mode called Prop-o-Matic which allows players to change their appearance by firing it an any desired item while playing. Apart from this, a lot of new things have been added to the creative mode as well.
