Nintendo Introduces Two New Characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Two new characters have been introduced in Fire Emblem: Three Houses by Nintendo and Intelligent Systems. Rhea the high priestess of the Church of Seiros and The Legendary Knight Jeralt.

Rhea has held the position as the high priestess since the days that Jeralt was in the Knights of Seiros. She is also described as the gentle motherly character, although she is known to be very firm and foul mouth people who oppose the church. Rhea is voiced by the famous voice actor Kikuko Inoue, who has previously worked in roles such as Lobelia in the Sakura Wars series, Rosemary in the Metal Gear series, Kasumi Tendo in Ranma ½, and Philia in Tales of Destiny.

The second character to be introduced in the game is The Legendary Knight Jeralt. He is also the father of the main protagonist. Jeralt was the leader of the knight of Serios in the past and is known as one of the strongest knights of them all. When he parted his ways with the Knights, he went off to lead a mercenary group and travel around. In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, he returns to join the Knights of Seiros at Garreg Mach Monastery.

Jeralt is voiced by the famous voice actor Akio Otsuka, who has voiced as Snake in the Metal Gear Series, Morrison in the Devil May Cry series and many more games.

Here is a video of Jeralt talking to Blyeth about keeping a clear head and free of distractions, lest he dies an early death:

In the game, players will play as mercenaries who they can customize and name as they like. The gameplay will feature a lot of strategy combat but you take the role as a professor who has to lead the head student from one of the three houses in the game.

The professor is part of the Officer’s Academy that is split into three houses; the Blue Lions, the Golden Deer, and the Black Eagles. The Blue Lions are led by Dimitri for the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, the Golden Deer is led by Claude for the Leicester Alliance, and the Black Eagles are led by Edelgard for families from the Ardrestian Empire.

The game is set in a land called Fodlan, where players are expected to work with the Church of Seiros and bring students on missions to grow in strength and to learn new skills and abilities along the way. This is where players will help and guide students in growing in combat and skills at weapons.

As you can see, this setup allows players a different perspective on the story depending on what house they choose to train. Regardless of your choice, the narrative will have students training in school and then going out to distant lands to battle.

The game was originally set to launch in Spring of 2019, but after a slight delay, the game’s confirmed date is set for 26 July. Post your comments below.
