Dreamlight Games have announced that their first project, an upcoming horror game, Fear the Dark Unknown is arriving next month. The news was released in the form of a brand new trailer which was released recently. According to the developers, the game is arriving right in the time for fans to enjoy Halloween.
In Fear the Dark Unknown, you get to play as James Sullivan and his daughter Chloe as they explore the cursed mansion of the Beresford Family. The father-daughter duo is trying to find the mystery behind the wife and mother of both of them respectively, Emma Sullivan. In doing so, they will come face to face with a large number of creatures that haunt the cursed mansion.
The brand new trailer showcases some of the creatures that players will encounter in the game and some of the characters as well which include the butler, nurse from the hospital as well as two mystery girls whose identity is yet a mystery.
The game will arrive with a deep story and each character will offer their own personal stories as well. Players will be able to collect different notes and documents as well which will allow players to further dig deep down in the lore of the game.

Fear the Dark Unknown is made by combining the mechanics of some of our favorite horror games of the early 90s. Dreamlight Games has combined the atmosphere of Alone in the Dark, the psychological horror aspect of the Silent Hill franchise and the gameplay of early Resident Evil titles to deliver a title that is a heavy dose of nostalgia for gamers who played horror games back in the 90s.
Fear the Dark Unknown is releasing on October 25, 2019, on PC while the console releases are planned for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and they will arrive by the end of 2019.
