Marvel Games Teases Fantastic Four Content Coming in Spider-Man PS4

Spider Man Fantastic Four

It seems that Spider-Man on PS4 will be getting some Fantastic Four content soon in the  game, according to a teaser from Marvel that was shared in a livestream.  The teaser was also shared in a tweet, and the Fantastic Four Week livestream.

Since the game release back in September 2018, most players have already completed the story all the way through. Even after the story has ended, gamers have plenty of options with side missions and to clean up the streets of New York City.

According to IGN, Marvel’s Ryan Penagos had also recently revealed that some type of content related to Fantastic Four would be coming in Spider-Man. He commented in a live stream by saying, “Something ‘fantastic’ is coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man real soon. I can’t tell you anything more right now…but you’ll want to keep an eye out for this. It’s going to be amazing and fantastic.”

Following his comment, Marvel Games also posted on twitter with almost the same comment. What the content could be is all but a guess. So we have to wait and see what Marvel Games is up to and what we might be seeing in the near future.

Our guess would be that the next DLC for Spider-Man will be incorporate the four heroes somehow. However there isn’t any DLC planned yet, as Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps was a three part bundle that came out with different chapters in episodes, with the last expansion “Silver Lining” just recently released.

Maybe Insomniac has more expansions planned in the future for the game, though it remains to be seen where the Fantastic Four content will be added in the game, or what it really is. All we can do is wait for the reveal sometime this week.
