The AG French Direct Spring 2026 featured many diverse and innovative games currently being developed by French-speaking creators. Whether you love cozy puzzles, intense action, or narrative-driven adventures, this event provides a great glimpse into the future of gaming. There are many exclusive demos now available on Steam for you to explore firsthand. The show featured a pre-show that showcased some prototype games, followed by the main event, where we got to see tons of cool trailers for upcoming and newly released French titles.
Pre-Show:
These titles were shown during the short pre-show. These included prototypes, games currently under funding, and titles created by French students, along with some French departments working in video game development that fund smaller indie developers to bring their titles to life.

Calame
Calame is an adventure game where you manipulate a powerful ancient magic known as “Calame” to shape the destiny of a forgotten land. The game features branching decisions and is coming to PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. A free demo is available on Steam right now.
Kalanoro
This action-adventure game takes you on a musical road trip inspired by Malagasy folklore. You play as Kalakely, using your hair as a weapon to save your island from a witch while managing your band and tour bus. Ravenswatch
A rogue-lite action game featuring intense combat and deep character progression. You play as legendary heroes from myths and folklore, teaming up to fight against a nightmare corruption. The game is available now to play on PS, Xbox, Nintendo, and PC via Steam.
Distant Shore: BRETAGNE
A first-person physics platformer where you use magnetic technology to navigate the metallic ruins of an abandoned facility. It draws inspiration from titles like Portal and Half-Life. A free demo is available on PC via Steam right now.
Feed the Giants
An exclusive new title set in a bleak forest where the fate of children rests in your hands. You can test your survival skills in the released demo. However, it will be released in 2027 on PC. A free demo is available on Steam right now.
CAIRN
CAIRN is a grand climbing adventure on the legendary Mount Kami. This quality-of-life update to the game includes a new free-roam mode and a limited-time demo to celebrate the direct. The free DLC will be available this Summer on PC and PS5.
Heave Ho 2
A hilarious and chaotic physics-based platformer where you and your friends must swing, grab, and launch each other to reach the goal. Cooperation is key, even when your attempts at teamwork result in funny disasters. This will be released this summer on PC via Steam and Nintendo, with many new features awaiting unveiling.
Far Far West
A stylized adventure set in a western frontier. Players explore a unique world, engaging with local inhabitants and overcoming challenges. It is celebrating the success of its early access period. It is available on PC via Steam.
Yerba Buena
A game that stands out for its storytelling and unique visual identity. It invites players to immerse themselves in a distinct world that emphasizes narrative and exploration. Mirage: Miracle Quest
A colorful turn-based RPG with deck-building mechanics inspired by magical girl anime. You play as Mirage, a young exorcist uncovering the secrets of her hometown in a beautifully hand-drawn world. It is coming out on PC via Steam.
Dive or Die – Children of Rain
A high-stakes underwater survival game set in a toxic, flooded world. You must swim fast and avoid deadly hazards to survive the deep. Available on PC via Steam on July 21st.
Dash’n’Drops
