Dianna Lora from Ubisoft Massive took to Twitter a while back and threatened PewDiePie. This is not something that the gaming community took lightly and fans started a movement to boycott The Division 2, a game Dianna was associated with. Now an anonymous Ubisoft employee has come forward and mentioned that Dianna is actually a poop stain in a sane company.
The employee did not want to reveal his or her name but mentioned that this is not the kind of culture the company has and what Dianna had to say did not reflect company values. The following is what the employee had to say in this regard:
I hope that you know most of the people working at Ubisoft Massive are sane. And she does not represent the company. Dianna is one of the unfortunately large handful of loudmouth leftist hired merely for this reason. To promote leftists ideologies and force it on the community.
I know that a hand full of people can make a mess for the whole company and this is what has happened here. There were reports on the internet that Dianna was fired for what she said against PewDiePie but that does not seem to be the case. The Ubisoft employee went on to mention the following:
Massive is a great studio with unfortunate “poop stains” like her that serve no purpose for the actual game development.
The message was signed off with “Embarrassed employee” which does not tell us much but paints a picture of sorts. It should be noted that plenty of people worked hard to make The Division 2 and the words of a single person should not be used against the whole development team. Every group has a bad egg and something like this happens pretty often in the gaming industry.
The Division 2 is coming out early next year and if you have played the previous game then you should check out this one as well. You can get the game for with along with Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 Remake if you buy an AMD RX 590 graphics card.
Let us know what you think about this issue surrounding PewDiePie and Dianna and what you think would be the right thing to do moving forward.
