Elex II Trailer

A new trailer of Elex II gave us a look into the five major factions that hold power in Magalan. THQ Nordic also shared details about the five factions which are the Bersekers, Outlaws, Albs, Clerics, and Morkons.

Before we detail the factions, check out the new trailer below:

ELEX II is the sequel to ELEX, the vintage open-world role-playing experience from the award-winning creators of the Gothic and Risen series, Piranha Bytes. ELEX II returns to the post-apocalyptic Science Fantasy world of Magalan, with massive environments that can be explored with unrivaled freedom via jetpack – you will be able to move through the epic story any way you want!

The Berserkers are the skilled magicians that use the power of Elex to perform all kinds of different spells. It is with their magic that they have turned the desert of Tavar into the green lush utopia that it is today. The second faction is the Outlaws, scattered all throughout Magalan. Some of the Outlaws have joined the Berserkers, others have continued their life of crime in the landscape of Ateris.

The third faction is the Albs, who have reduced their usage of Elex drastically after they learned from their defeat in Elex. They are not the most joyful, but their combat prowess makes them an interesting choice. The Clerics are famous for their love of engineering and crafting powerful combat robots powered by Elex.

Lastly, we have the Morkons, a brand new faction in Elex II that is made of survivors that fled into the underground tunnel system after the meteor hit Magalan. These are the five playable factions in Elex II, where each of them offers their own unique weapons and skills.

The game allows you to:

  • explore the planet of Magalan with unprecedented freedom, using your trusted jetpack to traverse the map and even fly!
  • interact with a lived-in world, full of unique NPCs, who…
  • …will remember what you’ve done and react accordingly
  • …will join or leave your group depending on how you behave
  • …are able to be killed, which will have an effect on the story
  • engage in fluid close and ranged combat with a massively improved control system
  • experience a story

ELEX II will release on March 1st, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series S/X. What do you think of the new trailer of Elex II showcasing the five factions? Post your comments below.
