Confirming the earlier rumors, EA has officially revealed the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered which is slated for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 6, 2020. A Nintendo Switch version is also slated for release later on November 13, 2020. This is the Hot Pursuit title that was released back in 2010 on PS3 and Xbox 360 along with PC.

The original developer of the game Criterion Games and Stellar Entertainment are back on the title for the Remaster. Set in the fictional city of Seacrest County, EA has included all the DLC into Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered and it also includes an updated Photo Mode and brand-new achievements for the game. Autolog is coming back to the game as well which will allow you to connect with your friends and challenge them by posting the fastest times.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remaster will offer 4K visuals with crisp 60 FPS gameplay on select platforms. On PS4 and Xbox One, the game runs at 1080p along with 30 FPS while the Nintendo Switch version runs at 720p with 30 FPS. PS4 and Xbox One X players will be able to choose between a performance mode that offers 1080p 60 FPS or a fidelity mode that offers 30 FPS but the game runs in 4K. On PC, the game is locked to 60 FPS at 4K to have a fair balance for online multiplayer.
The console version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will set you back $39.99 while the Steam and Origin version of the game will cost you $29.99. Pre-orders are now open, and you can pre-order the game for your favorite platform right now.
