The first and the most obvious way you can double your XP is by venturing out during the night. If you have played the previous game, you know that night time in Dying Light presents a whole new level of threat, where your tasks completed in the dark get you twice the amount of XP.
Activities such as clearing out Bandit Camps, and killing the infected during the night is the fastest way to get more XP, which in return will help you level up way faster than normal.
Another nighttime activity that is only available after the sun has set is the Gre Anomalies. These are special missions where you will be fighting enemy bosses. These missions are going to be tough, so make sure you are prepared for the fight.
Having said that, heading out to kill enemies during the night is not the only option you can go for, as you can farm certain activities that give you plenty of XP over time as you play the game during the day. The first of these activities is clearing out Bandit Camps. These are enemy camps found all around the map where you can fight and clear out enemies to make it your own safe zone. Bandit Camps give you plenty of XP when you complete them, but are not infinite, meaning you can only get so much of XP by completing all of them.
Another safe way to earn more XP is by completing several side quests in the game. While some of the side quests are good to get gear and items, they also rack up the XP that you can earn, boosting your player level.
