The Digital Dragons Indie Celebration is currently live streaming on Steam as the event is drawing to a close today. The event started on May 13 and is set to end today on May 15. However, the competition is also giving out 25 free demos of indie games on Steam.

The featured games are currently being live streamed by multiple professional and multilingual streamers on Steam, where you can also access the 25 playable demos of the indie games.

If you are unaware of the event, Digital Dragons and Walkabout Games announced last month the Digital Dragons Indie Celebration event which is being supported by Valve on Steam. The titles that will be showcased will be dedicated on the Steam homepage, with live demons, and developer interviews all throughout the three-day event, filled with livestreams. The last day of the event will be about the virtual award ceremony which will recognize and reward the top three games of the event.

Last week, Digital Dragons selected 50 independent games out of the 200 submitted games as finalists, which were selected by an independent jury of video game industry experts:

  • Robert Purchese – Eurogamer
  • Brett Makedonski – Destructoid
  • Karol Zajączkowski – 11bit studios
  • Jakub Rokosz – Fool’s Theory
  • Jakub Wójcik – Indie Games Polska

Tomorrow is the last day of the Digital Dragons Indie Celebration, where the best titles will be selected and awarded by the jury of gaming industry experts. Every registered Steam user will also be able to vote for the game that will receive the Community Vote award.

Digital Dragons Indie Celebration, co-produced by the independent publishing studio Walkabout Games, is a digital version of Digital Dragons. This popular festival, organized by Kraków Technology Park, is Central Europe’s leading game industry event for specialists, professionals, and developers, taking place every year in Krakow, Poland. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s edition has been postponed to 14-15 of September 2020.
