Buka Entertainment has announced that its upcoming graphic adventure Darkestville Castle is going to release next month on August 15. The game will be releasing on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch
On the other hand, a free playable demo is available on all consoles right now. The game will drop players into the pointed shows of skeletal demon Cid, who enjoys nothing more than sharpening his teeth and unleashing evil deeds onto the people of Darkestville.
Check out the trailer below:
Like any decent demon Cid spends his nights performing all kind of evil deeds to the peaceful people of Darkestville. Little does he know that his old arch enemy is about to change his life forever.
Not much information is known about the game other than it will cost you $14.99 and that the pre-orders are live right now for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The game will support multiple languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Russian subtitles.
However, we caught a few details on Steam where the developers posted this on the game description:
Dear Potential servant of chaos,
Being evil isn’t always easy… But boy it is so much more fun than being a good guy!
Having someone witty like you on my team could be useful during these not so dark time.
Everything in Darkestville was fine and dandy: I was tormenting the town people, the town people were being tormented… It was a fair deal! Who could complain? Not me, that’s for sure!
…until that moron, Dan Teapot, hired a group of professional demon hunters to banish me! I don’t even know why he has a grudge against me. Maybe I burnt his house a couple of times, but I only did it because it was hilarious!
In addition, the game has Very Positive reviews on Steam which is also another positive sign that should get you excited for the console release of the game.
