Strictly Limited Games and TAITO have announced Darius Cozmic Revelation containing two games from the Darius Cozmic franchise for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Darius Cozmic Revelation will include two games namely G-DARIUS HD and DARIUSBURST Another Chronicle EX+. The collection will be released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch as a Limited and Collector’s Edition. Pre-orders will start on September 27, 2020, at the official website of Strictly Limited Games.
G-DARIUS HD and DARIUSBURST Another Chronicle EX+ are the only 2 3D of the Darius series and both titles will include updated features to appeal to the modern gamers as well as the long term fans of the franchise. G-DARIUS is the post of ‘G DARIUS’ in high resolution that has been developed by emulation specialists over at M2. If players want a true, authentic experience, the game can also be played in retro low resolution, arcade visuals.
The game will feature epic boss battles and the memorable soundtrack of the G-Darius. Both of these features made the game stand out when it was released on arcades back in the days. This title marked the shift of the franchise from 2D to 3D. DARIUSBURST Another Chronicle EX+ is a modern title of the franchise and it was released on the PSP back in 2009.
It features beautiful 3D visuals and additional features to expand the arcade version from 2010. It was developed by Pyramid and will ship will all of the features of the arcade version of ‘Another Chronicle DX’. Some of the new elements from the game will be revealed in the coming weeks. The limited physical release will set you back 59.99€. The Limited Edition is limited to just 3,500 copies for Nintendo Switch and 2,000 copies for PS4.
For more hardcore fans, Darius Cozmic Revelation Collector’s Edition will release for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch and will ship with tons of physical and digital goodies. It will set you back 139,99€.
