Ashad Plate Boots
The Ashad Plate Boots are located in the far northwest area of Pailune. Many players might already be familiar with this location because of a popular nearby weapon. Once you reach the area, look for a waterfall. There is a hidden chest behind it, and you will need to use your Swab ability to break through and claim the boots.
Ashad Plate Armor
The Ashad Plate Armor can be found just north of Silver Wolf Mountain, near Pitfall Camp. As the name suggests, this area has a large pit. Jump down into the hole and move toward the back, where you will find the chest. Be careful when dropping down, as it is easy to misstep, and also, your horse might accidentally follow you.
Armor Pieces Locked Behind Quests – Helm and Cloak
Some parts of the set require you to complete faction missions.
The Ashad Plate Helm is obtained through the “Shadow of Beasts” questline in the Pailune region. During this storyline, you will face a boss called White Bearclaw. The fight is fairly manageable, so you shouldn’t have much trouble getting the helm.
The Ashad Plate Cloak takes more time to unlock. You first need to complete 14 militia quests in the Pailune area to access the Scorehorn faction missions. This questline includes several boss fights, including one against a snow harpy. Eventually, you will reach the “Deep-rooted Sorrows” quest, which features a long three-phase boss fight. It is a challenging battle, so make sure you bring enough food and healing items to survive.
Getting the Ashad Plate Gloves
The gloves require a bit of progression through multiple quests, but it is still manageable.
You begin by completing the Demeniss faction quest called “Corrupted Greymane.” This is a simple archer fight and doesn’t take much effort. After finishing it, you unlock the House Marshall quest “Midnight Circus.” This is one of the tougher parts of the process, as you will have to fight a spring mech with a very large health pool.
The game suggests attacking glowing weak points on its body, but that method can be slow and difficult. A much easier approach is to stay underneath the boss and attack directly, which deals more consistent damage. Even then, the fight can be tough, so expect to use a lot of healing items.
Once that quest is done, start the “Death Chime” quest for House Wells. You don’t need to complete everything; just speaking to a certain NPC will unlock the next boss. This leads to a fight against the Dark Justicar, which is much easier compared to the previous mech battle.
Complimentary Weapons
After collecting the full armor set, you can move on to getting two strong weapons that work great with this particular armor set.
The Marni Tank Blaster is found in Marni’s Steel Armory in Delesyia. This area is filled with robots, making it a good place to collect extra materials. The weapon drops from a mech boss, but surprisingly, the fight is not very difficult despite the location.
The Volcanic Blaster comes from an open-world boss in the jungle region near the Boring Ruins. The area is filled with enemies, so you will need to explore carefully to find the target, a boss wearing a red scarf. After you reduce its first health bar, the boss will run away. You will need to search the area again to continue the fight. Once defeated, you not only get the weapon but also unlock the boss mount as a bonus reward.
