This Crimson Desert Abyssal Fusion Dragon Armor Guide shows how to get this armor set for your Dragon easily. If you’ve unlocked your dragon and want to make it stronger, the Abyssal Fusion Dragon Armor is a great upgrade to aim for. This armor not only improves your dragon but also gives it a much cooler appearance. Getting it takes some effort, as you will need to progress through story quests, gather materials, and complete a final mission.
Abyssal Fusion Dragon Armor Guide – Crimson Desert
Before anything else, you need to reach the latter part of the story, around Chapter 11. During the “Foreboding Shadow” questline, you will complete missions like Master of a Forgotten Land and Whispers in the Wind. These quests eventually introduce you to the White Crow and lead to your first major dragon mission, where you take down a flying fortress.
Once your dragon is unlocked, head south of Hernand to the Kilnden Workshop. There, you will meet an NPC who allows you to craft special items for your dragon.

At this point, the recipe for the Abyssal Fusion armor becomes available, but you will first need to craft a required component, which is the Kukoo Pot.
Preparing the First Crafting Item
To begin, you must create a small tag item. This requires a basic pot, which is easy to craft using simple materials like iron ore and timber.
After that, you will need an Abyss Cell. These can be obtained by defeating strange rock-like creatures found in different parts of the world. A good place to farm them is near The Sage’s Peak, north of Hernand.

These enemies look like normal rocks at first, but once defeated, they drop useful materials, including Abyss Cells. You may also find similar creatures in other locations, so keep an eye out while exploring.
Collecting Mechanical Materials
Another part of the recipe includes cogwheels and small batteries. If you’ve already spent time in Delesyia, you probably have some of these. If not, you can easily farm them from robotic enemies.
Head to the roads around Delesyia, where these machines are commonly found. Defeating them will drop the required materials on the ground, which you can quickly collect. Since you only need a small amount, this step doesn’t take long.

Finding Aeserion’s Scales
One of the more hidden materials is Aeserion’s Scale. To get it, travel to the Serpent Shrine located in the lower-left area of Delesyia. Here, you will find a large serpent moving around the region.

Instead of fighting it directly, you need to explore the nearby area and look for glowing, shield-like objects. Wait for the dragon to go towards the lower-right section of the area before gliding to its backside. These are the scales. Use your Axiom ability to collect them when you find them. There are several scattered around, so you can gather enough without too much trouble. Once collected, they can be used for crafting and upgrades.
Getting the Power Core Material
The final material is a special power core item, which is a bit harder to obtain because it drops randomly.
You can get it by defeating rockworm-type enemies found in certain areas, such as the Steel Mountains or near Demeniss. These enemies drop floating items after defeat, which you can collect using your ability. However, the drop is random, so you might not get the exact item you need on your first try.

A useful trick is to save your game before fighting them. If you don’t get the right drop, you can reload and try again instead of waiting for them to respawn.
Crafting the Fusion Item
Once you have all the required materials, return to the workshop and craft the fusion item. This step is important because it unlocks the final quest needed for the dragon armor.
Completing the Final Quest
After crafting, a new quest will become available in Hernand. This is part of the witches’ questline and leads to the “Wings of Iron” mission.
Before starting this, make sure you’ve completed the previous quests related to the witches and their sanctums. Once everything is ready, the quest will direct you to the Nest of Valor, located in the Dry Valley area.
When you reach this location, a cutscene will trigger. This marks the final step, and upon completion, you’ll unlock the Abyssal Fusion Dragon Armor. After finishing all these steps, you will be able to equip your dragon with the Abyssal Fusion armor.
