In a new blog post, Creative Assembly has shared an update on their all current and future projects. The blog post lists their different development teams and their current projects and shares details about what we can expect from the studio in the coming weeks.
The two things highlighting this blog post is a new project and Lord Pack DLC for Warhammer II. The blog post also shares new details about their new Total War launcher. The post also teases a secret project which will be unveiled later this year and some updates regarding their upcoming title Three Kingdoms.
Creative Assembly lists a new project by their Sofia Studio which is essentially a new Saga title. The title is currently under development at the studio and has reached significant development milestones recently. More information will be revealed about this title in the coming future. We all know that currently the studio is busy with finalizing their upcoming title Three Kingdoms.
The title was recently delayed until May 23rd because the developers wanted a little more time to polish up the title a little bit. Some brand new mechanics have been added to the title which were previously different or not present at all. One major difference now is the redesigned battle prediction system.
Development work is also in full swing of the first DLC for Three Kingdoms which is called Yellow Turban Rebellion. Apart from this, the developers are also setting their vision straight about all post-launch content for the title. More information will be released on this later. The work for Lord Pack DLC is also under way and it will also include one of the Warhammer I races with it.
Coming to the Total War Launcher, it now supports Total War: ATTILA, Total War: ROME II, Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA, Total War: WARHAMMER, and Total War: WARHAMMER II. More titles will be added in the future. The developers have also introduced many new UI improvements and features in the launcher.
The blog also tells us about a secret project at Creative Assembly which is currently under development. More details will be shared about this project in the future however the post mentions that is a new genre for Total War so we can expect something brand new coming out of the studio.
Another thing is that the studio is currently working on an FPS title as well. No information is known at this point however the following tweet confirms that an FPS title is under development at the studio.
