Brand new action-shooter game for the NES; Copper Jacket has crossed its Kickstarter Funding goal while there are just a few final days left for the campaign to conclude.
Thanks to the support of 204 backers, the funding has now reached $13,860, beating the initial goal of $9,000. Indie game developer Monsoon Studios has announced that the game has been completed and that the working prototypes for the physical versions of the game have been produced.
Copper Jacket is an action-shooter NES game that supports 1-2 simultaneous players. This is a challenging game, so be ready for a fight! In Copper Jacket, your former boss (Commander Zaslavsky) has kidnapped your wife-to-be in an attempt to make you do his dirty work. Your mission is to defeat this sinister commander and rescue the love of your life. Step into the action packed game as a renegade combat expert who sports a military grade rifle and carries with him a lot of heavy bombs
Monsoon Studios has also stated that the game has been designed to play on NTSC systems, but may function on PAL systems; that said, no official PAL tests have been conducted. Players who are interested and plan to buy for PAL are advised to be aware of this. As for console testing, tests have been done on both original and top-loader NES consoles.
