Cooler Master has released another ultralight gaming mice and this time it is a budget option. The new ultralight mouse is called the Cooler Master MM720. Cooler Master has released the cost-conscious MM720 gaming mouse with a surprising weight of only 49g. Cooler Master has advertised the mouse suitable for long gaming sessions. In the release statement, they said.
The MM710 is a truly innovative mouse that does more with so much less. Along with all the pro-grade features that make our gaming mice deadly in combat, we’ve also implemented a striking new shell design and a deceptively durable, lightweight Ultraweave cable to trim the overall weight of the mouse to less than 53g. The result is quicker movements, longer gaming sessions, minimal fatigue, and less wrist pain associated with repetitive stress injury.
Cooler Master has been releasing many ultra-light gaming mouses in recent years. The design of the MM720 gaming mouse is like the Cooler Master Xornet II which was released 4 years ago in March 2016. Bryant Nguyen, Peripheral General Manager discussed this design similarity and said.
The Spawn and Xornet mice are still beloved in the PC gaming community to this day. Making an updated version of these mice was a matter of ‘when’ not ‘if’ – and adding a lightweight factor to it really puts it over the top as a must-have gaming accessory.
All in all, the MM720 is a reimagined version of the classic Spawn and Xornet lineups but also has vast improvements. The Cooler Master MM720 feature LK Optical which are better, longer-lasting, and accurate than mechanical switches. The MM720 has PixArt PMW3389 sensor with a 16K DPI. On the bottom are PTFE mouse feet for super-smooth glides.
The Cooler Master MM710 carries an IP58 rated internal coating which helps to prevent it from damage due to dust and moisture. Cooler Master is also including Mice Grip tape (worth $9.99) for the first 30,000 units they sell. The grip tape is made of anti-slip material and comes pre-cut at .75mm thick padding.
