Sony did not attend E3 2019 and I am sure that the fans missed the company. We did see the PlayStation logo at the event but Sony was not actually there. We know that we would hear from Sony later on in the year and with Gamescom 2019 around the corner people are wondering which companies will attend the event and whether Sony is going to be there or not.
At E3 2019 Microsoft took the stage to talk about the Xbox Scarlett. While Sony has talked about the upcoming PS5 and we know that the hardware is similar to the Xbox Scarlett, fans are still excited to learn more. It seems that Sony will be coming to Gamescom 2019 and if that is indeed the case then we might be able to learn more about the upcoming PS5.
Here is a list of companies that we know will be coming to Gamecom 2019:
- 2K Games
- Bandai Namco Entertainment
- Bethesda Softworks
- Capcom
- Deep Silver
- EA
- Microsoft / Xbox
- Nintendo
- Sony PlayStation
- Square Enix
- THQ Nordic
- Ubisoft
- Wargaming
Reports claim that these companies will talk about new products and that we will hear more about the eSports scene at the event. Google might tell us more about Stadia and Microsoft could give us more details about Xbox Scarlett. Sony might as well show us something related to PS5 like Microsoft did at E3 2019. That would be something very interesting indeed.
THQ Nordic has loads of games in the works and could announce some new titles for the future. Facebook is working on VR, so it would not be surprising if we heard about some new games for the Oculus. There is a lot of speculation at this point so do take this information with a grain of salt.
Let us know what you think about Sony coming to Gamescom 2019 and whether or not you want to learn more about the PS5 at the event.
