Black Ops 4 Patch 1.09 Released – New Specialist, Weapons and More

Treyarch released Black Ops 4 patch 1.09 details officially and it lists a lot of new content in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer and Blackout mode. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 released October 12, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Blizzard Entertainment platform.

The recent update titled under the code name of Operation Absolute Zero brings in new specialist, new weapons, new visual style of map, armor overhaul and a lot of other noticeable content to the game. Operation Absolute Zero update is focused more on Blackout mode and a little less on multiplayer mode of the game.

Blackout mode gets major changes in the recent update. For one, the armor has been overhauled in Blackout mode. Treyarch has brought a big change this time that players can repair the damaged armor during the round. Other than that, armor will take / absorb more damage than before. Also, note that there are no changes to the hit damage taken by armor wearer.

Armor repair will require certain armor plates to repair in the round. Armor plates can be found as loot in the world or on dead players’ stashes. These are only two methods to scavenge armor plates and repair your armor during the round.

Other than armor, the map visual style has been changed in the recent update. The visually changed maps now give a feel of winter season and has seen minor changes to them. You can spot some key differences easily in Hydro Dam, Factory, and Nuketown Island, there will be changes in entry or exit points.

The multiplayer mode now has a new specialist and new weapons. Specialist Zero will now be a part of multiplayer experience and he can disrupt other specialist’s deployed defenses and weapons by using his ability. Other than the new specialist and new weapons, there are minor tweaks and bug fixes for multiplayer mode.
