QubicGames and naptime games have announced, developed, and just released a simple puzzle game called Beautiful Ukraine. The game is made specifically to support the local UA charities for the ongoing war in the country.
Profits from the sales will be donated to charities that will directly support Ukraine – Habitat for Humanity Poland, Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) and Save the Children.
Beautiful Ukraine is a simple, family-friendly, relaxing game for the Switch that showcases the beauty of Ukraine. The entire proceeds from the sales will go to the Ukrainian charities for the entire life of the game. From the Odesa Opera and Ballet Theater to the majestic Carpethaen mountains. The historic and pristine city of Lviv to the grandeur of the capital Kyiv, and more.
Jakub Pieczykolan, QubicGames CEO released a small statement about their game,
We realize that some places portrayed here by now have been heavily damaged or completely destroyed, which saddens us deeply. However, we wanted to show you Ukraine as we knew it and with hope, how we will one day be able to see it again. This is our way of using what we know to try be a part of that rebuilding process.
Ukraine always has and will have a soul and character that is theirs alone. The country has become a global symbol and inspiration under such terrible circumstances so we hope to show you another side of the country that also deserves to be shown and championed.
