Battlefield 5 Firestorm Trailer Released, Showcases Detailed Gameplay

Battlefield 5 Firestorm Trailer

EA has finally dropped the official gameplay trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 5 Firestorm which is Battlefield 5’s battle royale mode. Earlier we got to see what the mode was like but it was still lacking a proper gameplay video and now we have we finally have around three minutes of Firestorm mayhem.

The biggest advantage Firestorm has over the crowded genre is the addition of proper military vehicles which include different half-tracks, tanks, and even tractors. It also features breakable buildings and not like that of Fortnite. Buildings destroy properly and will leave behind debris as well as different in-game objectives which can be completed to get the best loot found in the game.

The map of Firestorm is the biggest one to ever feature in a Battlefield title. The narrator explains in the trailer that this map is ten times the size of Hamada which was Battlefield 5’s biggest map before Firestorm came out. This means that there will be plenty of playground for players to try out all the different vehicles available in the mode.

Check out the official gameplay trailer below.

Players will use different vehicles to move around the huge map and look out for other player using anti-vehicle weaponry. Players will be able to engage in combat on the ground, in the air and in the sea as well whether they are on foot or in a vehicle. Completing different objectives such as opening up secret vehicle compounds or securing resupply points.

The rest of the formula is similar to other battle royale titles where players must scavenge for items are getting dropped in the map. The last team standing in the area wins and do not forget about the ever-shrinking wall of fire surrounding the map. The fire will destroy everything in its path so you better be inside the circle when it comes.

Battlefield 5 Firestorm is arriving on March 25, 2019, to all players who own the full game. It is not available separately.
