Reiza Studios have finally lifted the curtain from their next project Automobilista 2 which is the next title in its Automobilista franchise. The project is going to focus on Brazilian motorsport scene however the second title in the franchise is going global with some companies and brands joining the roster from outside Brazil as well.
Automobilista 2 is going to feature nearly all major Brazilian racing series, race tracks as well as manufactures. Apart from the Brazilian motorsports, the game will also expand into the international motorsports and for the first time, brands like BMW and McLaren will be joining the roster of the franchise. The game will also feature some world famous tracks like Brands Hatch and Imola.

Reiza Studios has entered into a technical partnership with Slightly Mad Studios, the developers of Project CARS franchise for their MADNESS engine. Automobilista 2 is going to be built on this MADNESS engine which will provide exceptional graphical quality and one of the most advanced dynamic weather and track condition systems. The game will also have a superior VR support to deliver one of the most realistic and a fully immersive visual experience.
According to the official reveal post, the developer states:
With Automobilista 2 we aim to combine the strengths that made its predecessor unique with major evolutions in all areas. The sim will offer some exclusive features for both single player and multiplayer, which we look forward to sharing over the remaining months of development!
Automobilista 2 is slated for a December 2019 release. A confirmed release date is not known at this point nor are the platforms. However, we can be sure that apart from PC, it will also come out on PS4 and Xbox One. Further details about the game will be announced at a later stage.
