A new season of Apex Legends is on its way next week, and we also got to see the new Legend that is going to be making an addition to the game; Revenant. The Assimilation Launch Trailer had a lot to talk about this new legend who, according to Respawn, was the greatest hitman in the Mercenary Syndicate.
Being a hitman, we know that Revenant is nothing short of a vicious assassin who is half human and half robot. This new legend was teased last week when a trailer that featured Forge, was killed by this mysterious Legend. We nearly thought that Forge was going to be the newest legend in the game, that idea was quickly quashed as Revenant killed off Forge in the end.

The trailer goes on to explain a bit of history of this Legend, and how he came to be what he is today.
Revenant used to be human. He was the greatest hitman the Mercenary Syndicate ever had. But when his programming eventually failed, he saw what Hammond Robotics had turned him into a walking nightmare of steel and vestigial flesh. The return of Hammond Robotics to the Outlands has renewed his thirst for vengeance, and he won’t stop until they’re all dead. Of course, he doesn’t mind eviscerating a few Legends along the way.
We will soon be getting our hands on Revenant as Season 4 is gearing up for a launch next week. We might get more trailers before the launch detailing his abilities and combat style. The new season will also introduce a new battle pass and a new Sentinel weapon that will be added in the game.
Respawn is also adding newer changes to the game, especially the Rank mode which will be getting a new Master rank that sits between Diamond and the Apex Predator ranks. Season 4 of Apex Legends is set to launch on February 4, while the game is free-to-play on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Pc.
