SCS Software has announced a brand new expansion for American Truck Simulator and it seems like American Truck Simulator is heading to Utah. After expanding the game to the North of USA, the developer has decided that it is now time to move to the East and the first stop for the game will be Utah. SCS Software has done an excellent job with the game post-launch support and the game is now huge compared to when it was released back in 2016.
The latest announced expansion Utah will take players to brand new locations and players will get to witness some of the most iconic locations in the new state. The new region will feature red-rock deserts and snow-capped mountains which Utah is famous for. Utah is known as the Beehive State and the trailer gives a very good nod in this direction with the toy bee right at the start of the trailer
The developer released a small teaser trailer which shows only a glimpse of the new region however we are expecting that the developers will release more information about the DLC in the coming days along with more footage. For the time being, you can check out the short teaser trailer below.
Utah will be the seventh state to arrive in American Truck Simulator. Since its release, the game has received several updates which brought both new states and new machinery to the game. The last expansion added Washington D.C. to the game while before that, we got Oregon in the game. This just shows that SCS Software plans to make the game the most authentic Truck Simulator game ever.
A confirmed release date for American Truck Simulator: Utah has not been announced yet however it is planned for a 2019 release so we can expect it to arrive sometime around fall.
