Bandai Namco and Outright Games have announced that a brand new Ice Age game called Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure is coming out later this year. The game is slated to come out on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC and it has a confirmed released window of Fall 2019. According to the press release, the game will follow Scrat on his adventure to find his beloved acorn.
Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure will feature some of the most iconic locations from the movies however the game will focus on Scrat rather than the classic trio of Manny, Sid, and Diego which are the main stars of the movie.
Scrat is on his mission to recover his beloved acorn and he must travel to the ancient Scratazon Temple. He will come across dangerous and deadly beasts from the prehistoric era as he tries to return the missing relics to their right place.
The game will feature a diverse range of environments which were originally featured in the movies. They will range from geysers, lava zones, and icy mountains and will really test Scrat’s determination as he travels for his acorn.
Each location will offer something new to the players to explore and discover different treasures hidden away. Players will also be able to unlock new skills such as higher jumps, grabbing items and more in the game.

With slapstick acrobatics and thrilling in-game obstacles, this game will plunge fans into the Ice Age world for a whirlwind adventure unlike any other.
At this point, we do not have any more information about the game but since it is slated for release later this year, we can expect to see an actual trailer from the game and probably some gameplay as well. The exact release date for Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure is Oct 18, 2019, and it will come out on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
