This Control Resonant guide details how you can complete the Crossing the Threshold side quest in the game easily. This quest involves investigating the dig site and examining CCTV footage to find Wilson and returning to the threshold.

Crossing the Threshold Quest Guide – Control Resonant

You will pick up this quest early in the game in the Central Region on the map. Travel to the location marked with a 2 in a yellow square on the map in the Central Region to begin the quest.

When you arrive at the location, look for a sparking object on the building and attack it to open the nearby door.

Inside, inspect the headless body and make the available radio call.

You can also interact with the CCTV footage above to make another radio call.

After examining everything in this area, your objectives will direct you to investigate the dig site and locate the CCTV footage. Your next step is to go to the Dig site located on the map. To get there, go out of the building and go to the left, then take the first right and then a left turn again.

Follow the road toward the dig site and continue along the route until you reach an area with scaffolding. Pass through it and take a left turn through the building to reach the other side, where you will find a strange golden glowing area.

Look around the dig site for the body on the ground and report the headless corpse. Collect the nearby items, including the station equipment. Once you have gathered everything from the ground, look for a key card that provides access to the station above you.

Jump up to the platforms on your left to reach a door and use the key card to enter the room.

Inside, gather the available information and pick up the clipboard with a note.

Listen to the dialogue before leaving, as your next objective will take you to the field hospital.

Now, from the platform where the door was, jump straight ahead onto the building ahead. From there, make your way back to the field office area on the map. The field hospital is located close to the CCTV footage objective. Check your map and make your way to the blue building, which is the field hospital, through the yellow staircase.

Inside, you will find another headless body on a table. Examine and report it, then interact with the available audio logs.

You will also discover a locked archive cabinet. Inspect it and report that it cannot be opened to receive information about where to find the code. Leave the field hospital and take the first right turn, and head to the large orange security building nearby.

Use the stairs on the left to reach the upper floor, then enter the room on the right where you will find two computers.

Start with the computer on the left. Move through its screens until the archive cabinet code appears, which is 0665. You don’t need to memorize the number separately, as viewing the code registers the information in the game.

Next, interact with the other computer to access the CCTV footage. Advance through the screens and play the recording showing what happened inside the warehouse area. Watch the entire clip so the dialogue plays and the investigation can proceed.

Return to the field hospital and revisit the locked cabinet. After reviewing the security information, you will be able to open it without manually entering the code.

Examine the contents to learn more about the bodies and complete the field hospital objective. Your next task will then be to find Wilson at the warehouse.

Wilson is in the second region on the map. To get there, exit the field hospital through the yellow staircase and move straight ahead. When you reach a dead end, take a left turn and go through the passage, take a right turn, travel through the nearby building, and head toward the doorway on the right.

If this is your first time entering, you will need to fight the enemies inside before continuing. Once the area is clear, leave the building and cross the rooftops by jumping through the platforms toward the next location.

Move down to the left from the building rooftop and enter through the doorway leading into another room. Defeat the enemies waiting inside, including the larger enemy, before moving forward.

After clearing the room, enter the smaller room under the staircase nearby to find Wilson.

There will also be a body on the ground repeatedly saying his name. Speak to Wilson to continue the quest.

During the conversation, you have two choices. You can take the entity yourself and carry it to the dig site or get angry at Wilson, causing his head to explode and sending him to the dig site on his own. Either option advances the quest to the same next objective.

Make your way back to the dig site threshold. You can take the longer route around if necessary to return to the correct location.

If you chose to carry the entity yourself, deliver it at the dig site. If you chose the alternative option, Wilson will already be dead when you arrive. Once this final objective is resolved, the Crossing the Threshold side quest will be complete.

Your reward for completing this quest includes the Restrained Hood, a head accessory that you can customise with different colours.
