Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a new gameplay overview trailer for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, offering a closer look at the upcoming survival-horror action game’s combat, supernatural abilities, crafting, and progression ahead of its October 8 launch.
Narrated by Xalavier Nelson Jr., who voices protagonist Aidan Lynch, the trailer explores Aidan’s journey into the Labyrinth while showcasing how Hellraiser: Revival combines survival-horror elements with more action-focused combat.
Players will have access to a range of melee weapons and firearms as they face enemies including Cultists, Runners, Bursters, and the Unworthy. Survival will require more than simply fighting, with players expected to dodge attacks, manage ammunition and healing supplies, set traps, and barter for upgrades.
A major part of Aidan’s arsenal is the Genesis Configuration, a supernatural puzzle box that can be used as a weapon. Its abilities allow players to manipulate objects and attack enemies with supernatural effects, including fire. The system also lets Aidan collect Suffering from defeated enemies, which can eventually be used to unleash the powerful Hell Chains.
Alongside combat, Hellraiser: Revival will feature crafting and puzzle-solving as players explore its dark environments and uncover the game’s original story. A free Steam demo is already available, giving players an early look at the game’s combat, crafting, and puzzle mechanics before launch.
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is scheduled to launch on October 8, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
The Standard Edition is available to pre-order for $39.99, while the digital Deluxe Edition costs $49.99. Pre-ordering either edition unlocks the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin. Two Collector’s Editions are also available, featuring licensed physical collectibles. Collector’s Edition pre-orders include the Deluxe Edition content and the standard pre-order bonuses.
