Today is the last day if you want to pre-order the $299.99 Gears of War: E-Day Prototype Lancer Replica. The store page also mentions that the initial batch of Lancer replicas slated for delivery in November has all been sold out. Any fresh pre-orders placed now will be shipped in the next batch in February 2027. The Gears of War: E-Day Prototype Lancer Replica is now available through the official Xbox Games Studios Shop for $299.99, ahead of the upcoming game’s October 6, 2026, release.
The replica recreates the version of the Lancer that will appear in Gears of War: E-Day, which takes the series back to the events of Emergence Day. Unlike the familiar Lancer equipped with a chainsaw bayonet, this earlier prototype uses a traditional bayonet, reflecting the weapon’s design before the iconic chainsaw attachment became part of the series.
The display piece was produced using precision molds based on in-game assets, with attention given to details such as its bolts, vents, and welds. It also features hand-painted weathering effects intended to give the weapon the worn appearance associated with the events of E-Day.
The replica measures 36 inches long, 14 inches tall, and 8 inches wide, weighs approximately six pounds, and comes with a dedicated display stand. Naturally, it is offered as a collectible display piece rather than a functional weapon.
The Lancer has been one of the defining pieces of equipment in the Gears of War franchise since the original game launched in 2006. The series has since surpassed 40 million copies sold across its five mainline entries, with the weapon becoming closely associated with the Coalition of Ordered Government and the franchise’s protagonists.
Gears of War: E-Day itself will explore the events surrounding Emergence Day, with Marcus Fenix and other COG soldiers facing the Locust for the first time. The game is scheduled to launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 6, 2026.
