EVERSPACE 2 Shadow Drops on Nintendo Switch 2 With All Expansions Included

ROCKFISH Games has surprise-launched EVERSPACE 2: Galactic Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, bringing the space action RPG and its major expansions to Nintendo’s latest hardware as a single digital package. The release includes the base game, Titans, Wrath of the Ancients, and the Supporter Pack, giving Switch 2 players access to the complete EVERSPACE 2 content lineup.

EVERSPACE 2 combines space combat, exploration, loot collection, and RPG progression across a large collection of handcrafted environments. The Switch 2 version includes more than 50 hours of story and side content, with players able to explore 10 star systems containing more than 120 handcrafted locations. These areas include challenges, secrets, and other activities spread throughout the game’s space-faring campaign.

The package also includes EVERSPACE 2: Titans and Wrath of the Ancients, the latter being the game’s final expansion. Wrath of the Ancients recently received recognition for its audio, winning Best Audio at the Deutscher Computerspielpreis. ROCKFISH Games details that the Switch 2 release follows repeated requests from the EVERSPACE community for the series to make its way to Nintendo’s hardware. The studio partnered with Engine Software to adapt the PC-focused title for Switch 2 while maintaining its full content offering.

The launch also marks the completion of EVERSPACE 2’s planned content roadmap. ROCKFISH Games said a final optimization and bug-fix update for existing platforms is planned for later this fall. While the studio does not have further EVERSPACE 2 content planned, it confirmed that development within the broader EVERSPACE universe is continuing. ROCKFISH Games recently received an €8 million grant from the German Government to develop a new title within the EVERSPACE franchise, although the studio has not yet revealed details about that project.

EVERSPACE 2: Galactic Edition is priced at $49.99 and is available exclusively as a digital release. The Switch 2 version runs at a capped 45 frames per second. The game is fully voiced in English and German and supports 13 languages, including English, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Spanish.
