Upgrade ID Bracelet Guide – 007 First Light
The objective begins in the operations room, where you will find a locked door on the left protected by a keypad.
A note nearby explains that the access code is stored inside an office safe, but reaching that office requires a bit of preparation first.
Before moving on, spend a moment listening to the nearby conversation. This information helps point you in the right direction and sets up the next part of the objective.
Getting the Office Key
To reach the security office, you will need an office key carried by one of the employees in the area. The easiest way to obtain it is by creating a distraction. If you have the phone dart available, use it to make the target feel unwell. Once he moves away and is distracted, approach him and pickpocket the office key. With the key in hand, head downstairs and continue toward the lower levels of the facility.
Finding the Safe Key
After reaching the bottom floor, make your way toward the right side of the area. Along the way, stop in front of the Legal Department and listen in on another conversation.
Your next destination is the Legal Department room guarded by security personnel. To enter without being noticed, you will need to create some kind of distraction. Hacking a nearby device works well, but any method that pulls the guard’s attention away should do the job.
When the guard moves, slip past him and enter the first cubicle inside the room. Here you will find the safe key. Pick it up and leave before anyone becomes suspicious.
Accessing the Safe
With the safe key secured, travel across to the office at the end, where the safe is hidden. The challenge here is that two people are keeping watch over the desk, making it difficult to approach directly.
Start by obtaining a lighter from a nearby cubicle. To lure the employee away from it, activate the vacuum cleaner and wait for her to investigate the noise. Once she leaves her position, quickly enter the cubicle and collect the lighter.
Next, use the lighter to set fire to the rubbish bin nearby. The commotion will draw one of the remaining workers away from the office. If necessary, you can create additional distractions by interacting with nearby devices or using your available gadgets.
Once the area is clear, approach the safe and unlock it using the key you found earlier. Inside, you will discover the security code needed for the locked door. The code is “1864”.
Entering the Security Office
Now that you have the code, return upstairs to the locked keypad door. Enter “1864” and confirm the input to unlock the entrance.
Inside, you will find a ventilation route right up ahead that provides access to the next section. Follow the vent until you reach another room. You will encounter a guard here who needs to be dealt with before moving on. After handling him, continue through the area and take care of the second guard as well.
With the room secured, approach the upgrade terminal and interact with it to improve your ID bracelet.
After upgrading the bracelet, the objective is essentially complete. You can leave the area through the main exit and continue with the next stage of your mission.
