How to Unlock Processor in Subnautica 2

Subnautica 2 Processor

This Subnautica 2 guide details where to find the processor blueprint and the materials needed to craft it. In Subnautica 2, to make more advanced materials, you need a more powerful crafting machine, like a Processor. Getting a Processor helps you to craft important resources like ingots, acids, medical supplies, and more. The good news is that unlocking it is not very difficult once you know where to look and which materials to collect.

Processor Guide – Subnautica 2

To get the blueprint, start your journey from your lifepod. Head toward the northern side of the map, near Wu Wu Lianghai, connected to the mission.

Even if you have not received the mission yet, you can still travel there yourself and unlock the blueprint early.

Once you arrive there, look for a structure on the left side of the area and go inside.

As you move into the second room, check the right side carefully. You will find the Processor there, ready to scan. You only need to scan it once, so after doing that, the blueprint becomes available instantly.

Materials Needed to Craft the Processor

After unlocking it, you will need a few basic resources before you can craft it. The recipe requires two Titanium, one Copper Wire, and one Mild Acid.

Titanium is very common and can usually be picked up around the environment without much trouble. Copper is also fairly easy to collect and is often found in rocky areas and cave sections. The only material that may be difficult to find for some players is the Mild Acid.

How to Get Mild Acid

To create Mild Acid, you need one Copper and two Acidic Rayon Pouches. These pouches come from strange purple plant growths scattered around the map.

You cannot collect them by hand, so make sure you have your Multi-Tool equipped. Once you find the plant, use the tool to harvest the pouches attached to its sides.

A few easy locations for these plants can be found around the starting area. One spot is south of the life pod, while another is hidden inside a hole directly underneath the pod itself. The useful thing about these plants is that the pouches grow back after some time, so you can return later and harvest them again.

After collecting enough materials, head to your Fabricator. Open the Basic Materials section, and craft the Mild Acid.

Building the Processor

With all the resources ready, open your Builder menu and select the Processor. You can now place it inside your base and start using its crafting options.

The Processor gives access to several upgraded materials and useful items. You can create different ingots, such as Titanium, Copper, Silver, Germanium, and Plasteel. It also allows you to craft items like Strong Acid, Biofuel Blocks, Water Bottles, First Aid supplies, Glass, and Grease using different combinations of resources.

This concludes our Subnautica 2 guide on how you can unlock the recipe for the processor and craft it for your base. If you want to add anything to this guide, feel free to use the comments section below.
