HITMAN World of Assassination has introduced a new limited-time Elusive Target mission featuring Milla Jovovich, expanding its live content slate while marking the game’s arrival on Apple silicon Mac devices.
Developed and published by IO Interactive, the update centers on “The Harbinger,” a mission available from February 25 to March 24, 2026. It is playable at no cost through both the full game and its free access version, continuing the series’ approach of using Elusive Targets as time-limited, high-stakes scenarios that emphasize planning and precision.
Milla Jovovich Arrives in HITMAN World of Assassination as the Latest Elusive Target
In this mission, players once again step into the role of Agent 47, tasked with eliminating Lilith Devereux, a fast-rising corporate figure with ties to the Ether Corporation. Set in Dartmoor’s Thornbridge Manor, the contract revisits the game’s “Patient Zero” narrative thread, linking past story elements with a new character portrayed by Jovovich. As with previous Elusive Targets, failure conditions remain strict, reinforcing the mode’s reputation for tension-driven, one-shot opportunities.
The inclusion of a high-profile actor follows IO Interactive’s ongoing strategy of blending its sandbox assassination design with more cinematic storytelling beats. Rather than altering the core structure, the mission layers narrative context and character identity onto an already established framework, allowing returning players to engage with familiar systems through a different lens.
Alongside the mission, a new paid DLC, the Patient Zero Requiem Pack, adds permanent access to related contracts, themed gear, and cosmetic items tied to the Harbinger scenario. While optional, the pack extends the lifecycle of the otherwise time-limited content, offering an alternative for players who want continued access beyond the event window.
The update also coincides with a broader roadmap rollout, introducing additional challenges, featured contracts, Twitch Drops, and the return of previous Elusive Targets. This steady cadence of rotating content remains central to the game’s long-term engagement model, which has continued to evolve since its consolidation into the World of Assassination platform.
Additionally, the game is now officially available on Apple Silicon Macs via both the Mac App Store and Steam, with support for cross-progression across platforms. This allows players to carry over their progress regardless of where they play, aligning with IO Interactive’s push toward a more unified ecosystem.
HITMAN World of Assassination is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, and Android mobile devices, and Mac, with “The Harbinger” mission accessible for free until March 24. The game is also playable in VR on PS VR2 and PC VR.
