Cozy Renovation Game Hozy Launches on PC and Mac This March

Hozy PC

tinyBuild and developer Come On Studio have announced that Hozy, their calming home renovation game, will launch on PC and Mac via Steam on March 30, 2026. The announcement comes as the game passes 250,000 wishlists, signaling strong interest ahead of release.

In Hozy, players are tasked with restoring abandoned homes in a neglected big-city neighborhood, cleaning and renovating rooms piece by piece. The game focuses on hands-on interactions such as painting walls, scraping grime, wiping surfaces, and rearranging furniture, allowing players to shape each space at their own pace.

Rather than emphasizing goals or efficiency, Hozy is built around a slower, low-pressure experience. There are no timers, scores, or fail states, and progress is driven purely by player choice. Each room can be organized and decorated freely, with tools and décor designed to complement one another rather than overwhelm the player with options.

Environmental detail plays a central role in the game’s atmosphere. Small touches, flickering candles, swaying plants, dust drifting through open windows, and ambient outdoor sounds are used to reinforce a sense of comfort and presence. These elements help turn routine cleaning and decorating tasks into a more reflective, almost meditative experience.

At a time when many simulation and renovation games lean heavily on optimization loops or rigid objectives, Hozy positions itself as a more personal and restorative take on the genre. Its focus on rebuilding lived-in spaces, rather than maximizing profits or performance, gives the game a quieter emotional hook rooted in care, memory, and creative expression.

Hozy launches March 30 on Steam for PC and Mac. A free playtest is currently available for players interested in getting an early look at the game’s renovation systems and relaxed design philosophy.
