Crystal Dynamics has unveiled a slate of new brand partnerships as part of its plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tomb Raider in 2026. The collaborations span gaming hardware, apparel, collectibles, comics, and lifestyle products, and will roll out throughout the anniversary year.
Originally released in 1996, Tomb Raider introduced Lara Croft as one of the most recognizable characters in video game history, leading to more than two decades of sequels, film adaptations, and cross-media expansions. The upcoming anniversary initiative brings together a wide range of partners aimed at highlighting the franchise’s long-standing cultural footprint.

Among the confirmed collaborators are 8BitDo, Aspyr, Dark Horse Comics, Funko, Loungefly, Upper Deck, GUNNAR Optiks, and the official Tomb Raider Gear Store, alongside fashion, collectibles, and art-focused brands such as Fulllife, Shark Robot, Syntilay, and Blend Cota Studios. Several gaming-adjacent partners are also involved, including Aspyr, which recently released Tomb Raider I–VI Remastered and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Nintendo platforms.
Rather than focusing on a single product line, the partnership list reflects a broad, multi-category approach, positioning Tomb Raider as a lifestyle and legacy brand as much as a video game franchise. The variety of collaborators suggests Crystal Dynamics is aiming to reach long-time fans while also introducing Lara Croft to newer audiences through fashion, collectibles, and pop culture merchandise.
This anniversary push also aligns with a larger roadmap for the franchise. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a reimagining of Lara Croft’s original adventure developed in collaboration with Amazon Game Studios and Flying Wild Hog, is currently slated to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later in 2026. While details on the project remain limited, its timing places it at the center of the anniversary celebrations.
From an industry perspective, the scale of the partnerships highlights how enduring franchises increasingly rely on cross-brand visibility rather than standalone releases. Tomb Raider’s continued presence across gaming, fashion, and collectibles underscores its evolution from a single 1990s action-adventure title into a long-running entertainment brand with global recognition.
Crystal Dynamics has indicated that additional collaborations and announcements will be revealed throughout 2026. The company has not yet shared a full release schedule for the anniversary products, but confirmed that new items will appear throughout the year.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is currently planned for release in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with further updates expected as the anniversary celebrations continue.
