The First Descendant Announces New Collab with Bayonetta at Tokyo Game Show 2025

NEXON has announced the next collab for The First Descendant, and it is none other than Bayonetta. As part of the new The First Descendant x Bayonetta collab, the legendary Umra Witch will arrive in The First Descendant on November 6, 2025. The announcement was made through a brand-new trailer showcased during Tokyo Game Show 2025, which is currently underway in full swing.

Check out the new Bayonetta Collaboration Trailer before we jump into additional details:

With the collab, Bayonetta will not arrive as a different character but as a character skin for Gley. The trailer showcases Gley as Bayonetta, who is armed with ‘The Last Dagger’, the exclusive collaboration weapon inspired by Bayonetta’s Scarborough Fair handguns. We can also see Bayonetta’s signature Witch Time mechanic that allows her to slow down time and shoot some projectiles in bullet-time fashion.

The collab also includes other themed items such as a full-body skin based on Bayonetta, weapon skins inspired by Bayonetta’s heel-gun and handguns, along with exclusive makeup skin and special social motion and spawn/despawn effects. To celebrate the collaboration, NEXON is holding an exclusive livestream today at 5 PM PT, where you can check out a live look at the Bayonetta cosplay from Tokyo Game Show and also get an early preview of the upcoming October 1 update. The livestream will showcase the upcoming new weapon, ‘The Sword,’ in action, along with its associated modules and external components, and a small look at a brand-new dungeon.

The First Descendant is currently available on PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is receiving its next major update on October 1, 2025, while the Bayonetta collab will go live on November 6, 2025.
