Death By Scrolling is set in the bizarre depths of Purgatory, which is under new management. The game challenges you to race upward through endless levels, battling quirky monsters, dodging traps, and staying ahead of the Grim Reaper, who is constantly chasing you. Your ultimate goal in the game is to collect 10,000 gold to pay the Ferryman’s river-crossing fee and escape the afterlife.

You will get a wide variety of unique characters to choose from. Each character will offer distinct perks and abilities. After choosing a character, you will take on a nonstop vertical sprint where time, gravity, and death itself are your constant enemies. With MicroProse now handling the publishing of the game, the developers will add expanded content to the game, along with refining the gameplay, and benefit from global distribution.
