THQ Nordic has announced the release date for the upcoming 4x strategy game SpellForce: Conquest of Eo. SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is a deep 4X strategy game offering an abundance of content and high replayability. The release will feature over 80 handcrafted battle maps across 15 unique environments where players will assemble their armies from a variety of over 100 units. SpellForce: Conquest of Eo will allow you to assemble your armies featuring dwarven axe wielders, stone golems, orcish shamans, and majestic griffons. To protect these armies, you will hire one of more than 15 heroes and apprentices who will lead them. SpellForce: Conquest of Eo features over 700 handwritten quests and as a master of magic you will also get to research over 100 different spells in your grimoire and use them strategically in tactical battles that demand consideration of flanking, range, visibility, high ground, and special battle enchantments.
The game is set inside the vast world of Eo which is a magical realm full of treasures and resources and is inhabited by various races such as men, elves, orcs, dwarves, goblins, and monsters. SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is a unique title that combines together elements of 4x strategy games, RPGs, and turn-based tactical combat games. Your mage’s tower will be your mobile base of operations and it will allow you to keep on the move as the resources are continuously depleting and you have to seek new ones all the time.
What sets SpellForce: Conquest of Eo apart from other games is the fact that the game encourages exploration and discovery along with research and experiment to improve units as they level up and equip new equipment and abilities. You will be able to explore a wealth of procedurally generated adventures and RPG elements as the game combines different mechanics into one for a unique experience.
SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is slated for launch on February 3, 2023, on PC and it will cost $29.99.
