Spiders and NACON have announced the release date of the first DLC for Steelrising called Cagliostro’s Secrets. Cagliostro’s Secrets is slated for release on November 10, 2022, across all platforms including PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store along with Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The first DLC for Steelrising brings with it a new level of gameplay and is filled to the brim with new content.
The new content includes:
- 1 level (Hôpital Saint Louis)
- 1 “main” quest
- 5 weapons
- 1 boss
- Several new enemies and new variations of existing enemies
- 2 new characters
- New side quests that will invite you to revisit certain levels
Cagliostro’s Secrets is set further in the main story of the game so to gain access to this bit of the DLC, you will need to start the main story and make progress to a certain point to unlock it. Complete the level ‘Bastille’ and you will be able to access the content of Cagliostro’s Secrets. The new story quest allows you to find yourself embroiled in a gripping story that involves the King’s agent the Comte de Caglistro which is set in the new area Hopital Saint Louis. The secrets of this location have been hidden by Louis XVI.
You will encounter new enemies and also unlock new weapons and costumes as you try to outwit Cagliostro’s Mesmer-inspired machinery. If you missed Steelrising, it plunges players into 1789 featuring an alternate Paris where the French Revolution has come to a halt and the king has deployed an army of automatons to repress humanity or anyone who opposes him. Your goal in the game is to save the French Revolution in an action RPG that is inspired by titles such as Dark Souls.
