Microsoft has revealed that the next generation of Windows 10 will be officially revealed on June 24th. Microsoft has been poking about the next big update for Windows 10 for quite a while and it has been revealed that it will officially unveil the new version on June 24th.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and chief product officer Panos Panay will be presenting at the event, which is scheduled to start at 11 am ET / 8 am PT on June 24th. In the Microsoft Build 2021 keynote, Satya Nadella said the following about the next generation Windows update.
Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. We will create more opportunity for every Windows developer today and welcome every creator who is looking for the most innovative, new, open platform to build and distribute and monetize applications. I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows.
From this, it can be understood that Microsoft is working on drastically updating the Microsoft Store. Microsoft also recently revealed that it has discarded the development of Windows 10X which was its operating system designed for dual-screen devices.
The company already had plans to integrate some of the new elements of Windows 10X in Windows 10, with several design improvements, including new system icons, showing up in Insider builds in the past few months.
