The Maw Mounts Guide – World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
Our World of Warcraft: Shadowlands The Maw Mounts Guide details everything that you need to know about unlocking mounts in The Maw in WoW: Shadowlands.
How to Unlock Mounts in The Maw in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
You will be able to unlock all of your mounts in The Maw in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands with the arrival of the upcoming Chains of Domination update for the game. However, before you unlock your mounts, you will need to complete the Maw Walkers storyline which comprises of five main quests. These quests include Opening the Maw, Link to the Maw, Mysteries of the Maw, Korthia, the City of Secrets, and Who is the Maw Walker?
Once the fifth quest is complete in the game ‘Who is the Maw Walker?’, you will unlock the ability to access your mounts in the game. Before starting the quest, make sure that your character is Level 60, and then find and speak with Tal-Galan in Korthia. Tal-Galan must determine that you are a Maw Walker and to find out whether you are or not, your character’s Anima will be scanned.
If you clear this scan and Tal-Galan confirms that you are a Maw Walker, you will need to speak with Tal-Galan again to unlock The True Maw Walker reward along 40 copper, 57 silver, and 2 gold as well. Once you have cleared the quest, you will now be able to summon and ride all of the ground mounts that you own in the game. You will also now have access to all Beastwarrens and Perdition Hold. However, you should keep in mind that this is unlocked only for your current character and not across your account. Each character must go through this phase individually.
