Puzzle Platformer World Splitter to Launch on PC and Consoles Later This Year

Review: World Splitter

Publisher Bumble3ee Interactive along with developer NeoBird Games have announced their puzzle platformer World Splitter to launch on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam later this year.

The game was a recipient of the Game Connection Europe 2020 Indie Development Awards’ Best Console Game and Grand Award prizes.

Check out the new teaser trailer below:

World-Splitter” is a 2D² puzzle platformer, challenging you with multi-dimensional puzzles. You’ll travel through wonderful and fantastic worlds that are beautifully animated and full of tricky challenges.

World Splitter is made with the brightest puzzle enthusiasts in mind, where it will dare you to quickly complete stages by intelligently positioning and rotating dimension rifts that separate two vibrant, beautifully animated worlds.

The game contains 60 levels and each consists of two parallel dimensions. You will have to manipulate dimension rifts to navigate across visible parts of the stage, save critters, and reach their exit. Obstacles like enemies, levers, mechanical platforms, portals, and gravity fields are designed to push one’s logical thinking skills to the limit.

CEO of NeoBird Games had this to say,

World-Splitter will feature a ton of content at launch, including a single-player campaign lasting roughly 10 hours, 10 local two-player co-op missions, settings for restricted win conditions, a medal system, and more. It’ll be the perfect game for puzzle enthusiasts pining for interesting mechanics and imaginative settings. The title’s time-based challenges could make it a hit among speedrunners, too.

We don’t have a release date for the game, although the publisher and developer have mentioned that they plan to launch it later this year. It is a long 2021 ahead of us, so everyone interested, including us, will have to wait for any further announcements.
