ADATA becomes the newest member of the RGB SSD space with the release of their new SE900G external SSD featuring RGB lighting. External SSDs with RGB are getting more and more common and ADATA’s newest SSD is the latest of them.
The SE900G External Solid-State Drive utilizes a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 interface to deliver up to 20 GB/s in transfer speed. This new interface is two times faster than a USB 3.2 Gen2x1 interface and four times faster than a USB 3.2 Gen1x1 interface.
The ADATA SE900G uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C connector which allows easy connectivity among various devices, as the Type-C connector is getting more common across the devices. This interface allows for rapid data transfer speeds while still looking fantastic due to the RGB lighting showcased on the SSD’s top. The Type C connector also eliminates any frustration when connecting this External SSD to nearly any PC or gaming console.
Coming to the design, the SE900G external SSD has a checkered effect on its body and the RGB light will make it a perfect fit for your RGB-themed rig. The RGB effects can also be controlled through ADATA’s software. The RGB lighting can also be synced with other XPG and ADATA products for a much slicker look.
The SE900G External Solid-State Drive is fully compatible with PS5 and Xbox Series X. This allows console gamers to experience the superior load times provided by this SSD easily. This SSD also features compatibility for Android, macOS, and Windows OS, which allows for this SSD to be utilized in various applications.
Given the growing sizes of games and install sizes on both PC and consoles, having some speedy plug-and-play external storage could well come in handy in the months and years to come.
This SSD comes in three different sizes ranging in capacity from 512 GB up to 2 TB. Currently, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the ADATA SE900G External SSD.
