PowerColor has revealed its Red Devil Custom Radeon RX 6000 cards consisting of AMD’s RX 6800 XT and RX 6800. The Red Devil cards contain triple fans coolers for a quiet but cool gaming experience. The PowerColor Red Devil RX 6800 XT and 6800 both come in a hefty triple slot design. The Radeon RX 6800 XT & RX 6800 Red Devil graphics cards are going to be the company’s top of the line offerings.
PowerColor is well-known by gamers for its Red Devil lineup of custom graphics cards and the series has been around for a while and has already reached its second iteration with AMD’s RX 6000 series cards. PowerColor Red Devil RX 6800 XT and 6800 both feature a triple-fan design, dual-BIOS, a 14+2 phase VRM with DrMOS, high polymer capacitors, and two 8-pin PCI-E connectors.
Coming to the Cooler design, both cards feature 3 fans and each fan has nine fan blades which will direct the air to the heat sink for efficient cooling. The cooler’s design has also changed and now has large LEDs towards the back end of the card.
The front housing and backplate featured in the cards are made up of an aluminum alloy which will provide sturdiness to the card. Beneath the front shroud is a massive aluminum heatsink array with seven thick copper heat pipes running through the heatsink. These are coupled by exhaust vents on the backplate which will provide optimal airflow.
PowerColor’s Red Devil RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 feature 14+2 phase VRM with DrMos capabilities and the cards will be powered using dual 8-pin connectors. Coming to the output ports, the PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT & RX 6800 Red Devil has two Display Ports, 1 HDMI port, and 1 USB Type-C port. According to PowerColor, the Limited Edition variants of the Red Devil will feature Type-C ports while the standard variants won’t feature Type-C connectivity.
So far, PowerColor has not released any information about the pricing of its new RX 6000 series GPUs but both cards are expected to launch in the last week of November.
