We had rumors that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC however nothing solid was revealed on the PC port of the PS4 exclusive. However, the PC port is now all but confirmed thanks to AMD’s new Ryzen bundles. AMD has announced that select Ryzen processors will now ship with a code for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. This confirms that the game is releasing on PC and people planning to purchase AMD Ryzen processors will get it for free.
However, this bundle is not available for all Ryzen processors. Only select Ryzen processors will come bundled with a digital code for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. The vouchers will remain valid until July 30, 2020, which shows that this is going to be a limited-time deal. According to AMD, the following Ryzen processors will now ship with the game:
- AMD Ryzen 9 3950X
- AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
- AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Previously, we only had rumors about Horizon Zero Dawn coming to PC and naturally, PlayStation fanboys were not happy about the news. Having the best exclusives among all three major platforms is one of the biggest arguments that PlayStation fans use against PC and Xbox One fans and with most PS exclusives heading to PC, they are now losing this pretty strong argument.
Horizon Zero Dawn is indeed one of the best PS4 exclusives and this is a great game that I think should be experienced by everyone regardless of their hardware choice. Horizon Zero Dawn is not the only PlayStation exclusive that is coming to PC. Hideo Kojima’s highly anticipated Death Stranding released last year on PS4 is also coming to PC while previously, nearly all of Quantic Dream games were released on PC via Epic Games Store.
