How to Get Gold Flowers in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Gold Flowers Animal Crossing New Horizons

This guide will show you how to get Gold Flowers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Obtaining Gold Flowers is easier said than done, and it requires a few items beforehand to start growing the Golden Flowers on your island.

Once you are ready with the items needed, you also have to crossbreed various flowers to get the desired results. This guide will show you the specific item needed and the flowers required to crossbreed and to get Gold Flowers.

How to Get Gold Flowers in Animal Crossing New Horizons

To start growing Gold Flowers, the first item you need is the Gold Watering Can. This requires special tasks that you have to complete which include increasing your island rating to 5 Stars, getting the DIY Recipe from Isabelle, and then crafting it using a Gold Nugget and Watering Can.

Once you have the Gold Watering Can, you can now start with the crossbreeding of flowers. The first step is to get a Black Roses from Red Roses. This can be done by planting Red Roses with a space between them, and in a mesh pattern. The empty spot between the flowers will allow crossbred flowers to spawn on them.

Once planted, keep watering the Red Roses and in time you will get a Black Rose in one of the empty spaces. This is where you should then stop watering and let the Black Roses dry out. Once dried up, use the Gold Watering Can to water them, and wait for a Golden Rose to spawn. This usually takes up to a day where you will see Gold Rose buds appearing on the flowers. These buds will fully bloom into gold flowers the following day.

This is currently the only known way to get Golden Flowers. Any new methods found later will be updated in this guide.
